At Tamarind Beach all rooms and suites have the best beachfront sea-views you can hope for, with a welcoming sound of nature and birdlife in the background. The accommodation is in small blocks of three storeys with the suites on the top floor, and the ground floor rooms offer steps straight onto the sand.
The moment you arrive the staff are friendly and helpful, from reception to the beach service and the restaurant as well. Which takes me to the dining, what a pleasant experience - great sized servings of fresh and delicious food. The managers, being Italian, have a high standard for the cuisine, wine and of course coffee, and they make sure all produce either local or imported is top level. The new deli/shop was a surprise for an outer island, and will surely become a popular stop in the Grenadines. I wished I could have stayed longer here, partially for the location and laid back feel, and also I would have loved to have the opportunity to try the Woodfired Pizzas!
